WOODLAWN BIBLE HOUR – Sundays at 9:15 am -
This is the time when the whole family has the opportunity to gather around God’s Word and learn more about the wonderful things God does for us. Plan on joining us each Sunday!

BIBLE CLASS  – Have you ever heard the phrase “heavenly rest?” That’s what a believer looks forward to in eternity. But “rest” is not just a future idea. It’s a theme that is woven throughout Scripture. This Bible study on “God’s Rest” will explore the rest God gave his people in the Old Testament and the rest he gives us today through the Gospel message. The study ends with the future rest in store for all who hold firm to Christ during their restless days on earth.  Pastor Robert Koester from our Northwestern Publishing House will lead us into God’s word as we explore the concept of spiritual rest on Saturdays and Sundays and Woodlawn’s pastors will lead them on Thursdays.  Join us!  Classes are held on Thursdays at 10:00am in Room 101, Saturdays at 3:45pm in Room 206 and Sundays at 9:15am in Room 101.

It’s certainly not the policy of all Lutherans. In the revised WELS & Other Lutherans, author John F. Brug describes recent doctrinal changes in major Lutheran church bodies and in smaller Lutheran groups.
