CURRENT BIBLE CLASS SERIES - THE LORD’S REST – All of us enjoy a time of rest and relaxation. Our bodies and minds need that. What about our souls? How do they get “weary and burdened,” as Jesus put it? What kind of rest does Jesus give us and how do we get it? Those are the issues we study in our series of Bible Classes. Pastor Robert Koester from our Northwestern Publishing House will lead us into God’s word as we explore the concept of spiritual rest. This new series begins on February 11 and 12.

February 24 – The Martin Luther College Choir will be singing under the
direction of Dr. Kermit Moldenhauer, will present a choral concert under the
theme, “Praise the Lord, O My Soul” at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Ave., Waukesha @ 7:00 pm. The program will include works by Bach, Schutz, Mozart, Clausen, Rutter and others. The congregation will also be asked to join the choir in singing as together we proclaim the gospel in song. A free will offering will be gathered to help with choir expenses.
Feb 26 – Our next Contemporary Worship Service will be on Sunday, February 26th at 10:30am.
March is one of the months where we emphasize contributions to the food pantries we support – Good Samaritan Outreach Center of West Allis and St. Marcus Church food pantry of Milwaukee.
March 2 - WLHS MUSICAL PERFORMANCES – Join us for a delightful performance of My Fair Lady, the Cinderella-like story of an arrogant phonetics instructor who
wagers that he can pass off a poor and dirty street ragamuffin as an elegant
lady, on Friday, March 2 at 7:30pm; Saturday, March 3 at 7:30pm; and Sunday,
March 4 at 1:30pm. All performances take place in the Wisconsin Lutheran
High School Auditorium. Ticket sales start February 6. For reserved
seats or more information, go Wisconsin Lutheran HS. Before the Friday,
March 2 performance, you can enjoy the Choir Associates Spaghetti Dinner served
in the cafeteria from 4:30-7:00pm.
March 9 - The Branches Band will be at Jordan Lutheran Church (77th & National) on Friday, March 9th at 7:00pm. Branches Band offers approximately hour-long concerts of Christian music with meditative thoughts interspersed amongst the songs. All the members of Branches Band are members of WELS churches and graduates of Wisconsin Lutheran College. Samples can be heard at Branches Band. Click on the “Press Kit” tab. Plan on attending. There will be a free-will offering to help them with expenses.
March 10 – Butterfly Brunch: The Christian Women’s Leadership Circle hosts its annual Butterfly Brunch at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday, March 10. The event features keynote speaker Susan Marshall’s presentation, “Standing Strong as a
